Floods and landslides struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra in late November 2025.

Recovery needed coordination across many ministries and a budget secured for several years.
S — Parties Brought Together(done)
The House recovery task force, based in Banda Aceh, brought ministries and affected local leaders together; its coordination results were handed to the government task force led by Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian.
C — Solution / Decision(done)
A Rp100.1 trillion rehabilitation and reconstruction budget for 2026–2028 was agreed, including Rp7.4 trillion for permanent housing.
O — Result(in progress)
Implementation is followed through with oversight and budget support; permanent housing is due to be finished in 2027.
